Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and HelloAri, a Delaware corporation ("HelloAri", "we", "us"), which runs Ari AI, a personal AI assistant you chat with on WhatsApp. By signing up or using Ari AI you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Early access
Ari AI is an early version offered to invited people, free of charge. Features, limits and availability can change, and the service can be interrupted or stopped. If we ever plan to charge for it, we will tell you first, and you can choose whether to continue.
Who can use it
- You must be 18 or older and have a WhatsApp account and a Google account.
- One account per person, linked to one WhatsApp number that belongs to you.
- Keep your Google account secure. You are responsible for what happens through your account.
What Ari AI does, and its limits
- Ari AI uses AI to answer and act for you. Its answers can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. Check anything important, and don't rely on it for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.
- You are responsible for the actions you ask for or approve, such as an email it sends, an event it creates or a form it fills in on a website. It asks you before sending an email.
- Fair-use limits apply, for example to messages it sends on its own, scheduled tasks, generated images and the browser. We may change them to keep the service working for everyone.
Acceptable use
Don't use Ari AI to:
- break the law, or harm, harass, threaten or deceive anyone;
- send spam or bulk messages, or contact people who didn't ask to hear from you;
- create or spread malware, or attack, scan or overload other systems or websites;
- try to get around its security or limits, reach other users' data, or break out of the sandbox your assistant runs in (security research needs our written permission first; tell us what you find at support@helloari.io);
- break the terms of the websites or services you ask it to use;
- process content you don't have the right to use, or other people's personal data without a lawful reason.
Groups
If you link Ari AI to a WhatsApp group, you are responsible for telling the members. Messages in that group that mention Ari AI are handled by your assistant, so they can see its replies and it can see their messages.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you send and of what Ari AI creates for you. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Other services
Ari AI works through services run by others, including WhatsApp, Google and the websites it visits. Their own terms apply to your use of them. Ari AI is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta. WhatsApp can limit or block the number Ari AI uses, which can interrupt the service; your account and data are not lost when that happens.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using Ari AI at any time, and ask us to delete your account at support@helloari.io. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk, and we may end the early access programme. When we can, we tell you first.
No warranty
Ari AI is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, HelloAri is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of Ari AI. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about these terms or Ari AI goes to the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. If you live in a country whose consumer laws give you rights that can't be waived, those rights still apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We change the date at the top, and for important changes we tell you on WhatsApp or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Ari AI after that, the new terms apply.
